Dr. Omar Bin Abdulaziz

Dr Omar earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the United Arab Emirates University in 2019, followed by the completion of his Psychiatry Residency Program in 2025. He began his clinical career serving at Zayed Military Hospital and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City until 2020.

He later worked as a Specialist Psychiatrist at Al Ain Hospital before joining NMC Royal Hospital, Khalifa City, in a similar role. Over the course of his career, Dr Omar has gained extensive experience in managing a wide range of psychiatric and behavioural health conditions, reinforcing his commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered mental health care.

To further enhance his medical expertise, Dr Omar completed advanced training and research programs at the University of Central Lancashire in the United Kingdom and Nagasaki University Hospital in Japan.

Dr Omar has also published research on:

His early clinical experience in psychiatry within general medical settings provided a strong foundation for his holistic, patient-centred approach to mental health care.
