Dr. Saumya Srivastava

Dr Saumya Srivastava is a dedicated, multilingual, popular and experienced Consultant Gynaecologist with a broad expertise in women’s health and wellness for 25 years. Before joining NMC She has worked as the head of department and Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Ahalia Hospital Musaffah Abu Dhabi. She also has an experience of working in a busy tertiary care government hospital (Mafraq)for 6 years, Ministry of health Oman for 2years and Ministry of health Saudi Arabia 3 years.

She is a Fellow and member of Royal college of Obstetrics and gynecology UK (Frcog,Mrcog), she is a fellow of American college of Obstetrics and gynecology. She has a diploma in European lifestyle medicine (ELMO) and Cosmetic gynecology. Additionally, she has a Diploma in Reproductive medicine as well. She is a member of British Menopause society UK. Over the years after her post-graduation, she has upgraded her operative and medical skills by doing many certified courses Hysteroscopy, Ultrasound and laparoscopy.

Her area of specialization includes care of expecting mothers during expecting mothers throughout their journey of pregnancy with empathy, love and compassion. Having worked in various tertiary center’s she can handle any high-risk complex pregnancy backed by knowledge of the latest international guidelines with safety and precision. She excels in high-risk emergency situations, by responding swiftly to ensure optimal patient outcomes. She is well experienced in performing complex instrumental and operative deliveries in labor ward.

Apart from pregnant women she is adept at dealing with women with whole spectrum of gynecological disorders including hormonal imbalances in adolescent, reproductive, perimenopause and menopausal age group.

She also treats women with subfertility and infertility. She has expertise in doing various gynecological operative procedures ranging from hysteroscopy to colposcopy, complex and simple laparoscopy. Apart from being in a role of busy clinician, she has been a part of various academic projects like paper presentations, audits, awareness programmers’, conducting undergraduate and post graduate examination and courses.
