Dr. Vatsal Jayantkumar Bachkaniwala

Dr Vatsal Bachkaniwala is a Specialist Gastroenterologist with 5+ years of experience in the Gastroenterology department. He completed his MBBS and MD (Internal medicine) from D Y Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai. He further pursued DM Gastroenterology from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, India. He was previously working at Ansh Clinic, Ahmedabad. He is trained in advance therapeutic endoscopic procedures there namely ERCP and Diagnostic EUS, Power Spiral Enteroscopy. He is also exposed to cholangioscopy. His special interest lies in upper GI motility. He is a lifetime member of ACG and ISG. Dr Vatsal’s area of expertise lies in performing diagnostic and therapeutic Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Paediatric gastroscopy and colonoscopy, ERCP and EUS, HREM and Ph metry. He carries 2 years of advanced therapeutic endoscopy and clinical gastroenterology experience. He is highly skilled in managing Pancreatic and biliary diseases, Luminal stenting, managing IBD and IBS, managing GI bleeds, Cirrhosis and fatty liver, Hepatitis B and C, and the whole spectrum of GI and Liver emergencies. Dr Vatsal is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
