Dr Linette Achecar completed her Bachelor degree in Medicine and General Surgery from Iberoamericana University, Dominican Republic in 2005. She then completed her training in Gastroenterology at Ramon y Cajal University Hospital, Madrid Spain in 2011. Dr Linette got her PhD in liver disease from University of Alcala de Henares, Madrid in 2017. Dr Linette has over 16 years of experience and started her career in Spain as a Gastroenterologist working in different healthcare centres until 2018 before moving to Abu Dhabi, UAE where she has been working as a Consultant Gastroenterology in different specialized centres. Dr Linette attended as well as a speaker in several presentations in notable medical conferences. Special interests: All the gastroenterology areas especially liver and pancreas disease, bowel disease. Reflux disease. Endoscopy procedures. Gastroscopy, colonoscopy. Endoscopy ultrasound.
